Interim Chef (March–September 2026) Marjorie — Central District, Seattle We are seeking an Interim Chef to join our team at Marjorie from late March through late September 2026. For candidates interested in an earlier start, opportunities for training and onboarding will be available beginning January 2026. Located in the heart of the Central District, Marjorie is a small, 45-seat restaurant and 20-seat patio, with an all-electric kitchen. We serve globally inspired dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, and we’re looking for a chef who shares our passion for vibrant, thoughtful food. As our Interim Chef, you will lead the kitchen team through the summer season, overseeing daily operations and supporting both in-house and off-site events and catering. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the kitchen team throughout daily service Schedule staff and manage labor needs Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls Train team members on recipes and culinary techniques Execute seasonal menus Maintain strict health and safety standards Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service Participate in special events both onsite and offsite With a strong team ready to support your transition, we welcome applicants with varied kitchen leadership experience.
